Who Are We?
Evergreen Snow Blow is the first company to bring Canadian inverted-snow-blower technology to the area. I went up to Ottawa, Canada and learned about their business model from Jim MacKenzie of Capital Services. His company services 6000 driveways in a single night.

Why is snow blowing better than plowing?
Low Impact
Our tractor drives gently up and down your driveway, never touching your lawn or landscaping. This is very different from a truck with a plow. Plows push the snow from your driveway into your lawn, peeling up grass, sprinklers, lighting, and landscaping in the process.
No Berms. Smaller Piles
Our snow blowers pick up the snow and blow it out across your lawn, evenly dispersing it. This means you don’t end up with massive piles along your driveway. And if the snow does pile up, the piles will be out in your lawn where we blew them. Not encroaching on your driveway, like they do with a plow.
Cleaner
Snow blowing creates handsome clean-cut edges along the sides of your driveway. The driveway is clear and the lawn is untouched. Compare this to snow plowing – where a truck is smearing snow back and forth across your driveway, and shoving piles into the middle of your lawn. The mental picture is pretty obvious. Snow blowing looks clean and nice. Plowing looks messy by comparison.
Deep Snow? No Problem
When it snows a foot or more, plows have nowhere to push the snow – they become completely useless, and often break. Our snow blowers use our tractors’ powerful engines to pick up the snow and throw it. We’re totally unaffected by deep snow – so you won’t be left snowed in!
Specialization
Plows are great for roads and parking lots. Plows are not great for driveways and tight spaces. Plow trucks can barely maneuver within a standard city driveway, and they have to use the plow in ways it wasn’t designed for – like back-dragging the snow away from your garage. A plow’s cutting edge faces forward, not backward. So back-dragging should really be called back-smearing, because it certainly isn’t scraping up the snow.
